Rouhani [Again] Warns Next U.S. President: Prepare to Surrender to Iran

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday professed to be entirely disinterested as to the identity of the next president of the United States. Instead he reissued his warning that whoever occupies the Oval Office must get ready to surrender to the might, power and majesty of the Islamic Republic he leads.

China Forces Japanese Fishing Boats Out of Japan’s Waters

Japan’s Fisheries Agency has advised Japanese fishing boats to avoid certain areas within Japan’s own exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and operate elsewhere after thousands of Chinese fishing boats ignored Tokyo’s previous warnings in recent weeks to exit the country’s waters.

On First State Visit, Emiratis Ask Israel to Establish Embassies ASAP

The United Arab Emirates’ top diplomat on Tuesday asked his Israeli counterpart to move quickly to set up embassies in Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi. His plea came as a delegation of Emirati officials visited Israel for their first official state visit since signing a U.S.-brokered normalization deal last month.
