GOP Sen. Lee: Twitter, Facebook ‘Need to Be Held Accountable’ for ‘Deceptive Trade Practice’ in Conservative Censorship

Ahead of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) emphasized the importance of holding the two social media giants “accountable” for the censorship of conservatives on their platforms. This comes as Twitter has been inserting a disclaimer on Trump’s tweets about the election, and Facebook has deleted pro-Trump groups fighting the election results.

Chuck Schumer: It Is ‘Irresponsible and Dangerous to Move Forward’ with Amy Coney Barrett SCOTUS Hearing

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is calling on the Senate to postpone the confirmation hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, calling it both “irresponsible and dangerous to move forward with a hearing” following the news of two members of the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Thom Tillis (R-NC), testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
