Jay-Z Teams Up with Social Justice Groups to Bail Out Wisconsin Protesters

Rap music mogul Jay-Z and the social justice arm of his ROC Nation company, Team ROC, are teaming up with other social justice groups in an effort to bail out protesters arrested after taking to the streets following Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm’s announcement on Wednesday that police officer Joseph Mensah will not face criminal charges in the fatal February shooting of Alvin Cole.

Looting Begins as Violent Protest Continues in Wisconsin

The march from Milwaukee to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, descended from peaceful protest to vandalism to looting on Wednesday night. Under the cover of darkness, dozens of protesters began smashing windows of homes and businesses and moved on to loot a convenience store.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Headlining ‘Veep’ Reunion to Help Turn Wisconsin Blue

Following cast reunions of “The Princess Bride” and “The West Wing,” Wisconsin Democrats are importing more Hollywood celebrities in their effort to turn the state blue and send President Donald Trump packing. This time, the cast of HBO’s “Veep,” headed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, will take part in a virtual reunion to raise money in the battleground state.
