Survey: College Makes Young Americans Less Patriotic

A new survey commissioned by the Young America’s Foundation called the Youth Patriotism Index revealed that American colleges and universities are contributing to making students less patriotic. According to the survey, high school students are much more likely than college students to be proud to live in the United States.

Twitter censored President Donald Trump’s account yet again yesterday, taking down a meme posted by the president that featured a rallying cry to his supporters, after the New York Times, which reportedly owns the rights to the original image, filed a copyright complaint.

Fresno State Students Call for Removal of Gandhi Statue

Students at Fresno State University have circulated a petition that calls for the removal of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi on campus. The students argued that the statue should be removed on the basis of Gandhi’s alleged prejudices against minority groups.

Facebook to Ban Anti-Government ‘Boogaloo’ Groups

Social media giant Facebook recently announced that it would be removing anti-government “Boogaloo” groups and pages from its platform. Mark Zuckerberg’s platform has already removed 220 such groups on Facebook and 95 Instagram accounts that it says violate its policies against organized violence.

Wikipedia Pushes ‘Black Lives Matter’ Agenda Following Activist Campaign

Throughout June, Wikipedia activists have been conducting an “edit-a-thon” started by a newly-established Black Lives Matter group on the site, creating large amounts of content on “racial justice” issues. Among their efforts, editors have got numerous articles on racism or alleged police brutality to appear on the front page with several articles having already been featured, including one smearing President Donald Trump and one promoting a book pushing “white guilt” on readers.

Chinese Researcher Convicted of Spying on American Companies

A Chinese citizen that completed a portion of a doctoral program at an unnamed Californa university was convicted of stealing American trade secrets on Friday. The DOJ charged the man with conspiring to steal trade secrets from multiple American companies and hand them over “for the benefit of the Chinese government.”
